Zoo Barben
Amazing experience, is good enough to spend one day. It’s especially nice if you have little kids, the place is very well laid out with all amenities, there’s food available all over the place and you can bring your own food as well.
There are enough toilets and drinking water spots.
There is a train service for going to the top if you don’t want to climb the stairs for 1€.
There are play areas for kids and you can even reheat your food at the snacks bar.
Overall highly recommended, the bird show isn’t running and won’t be available till April 23.

Parc Animalier de la Grande Jeanne
A beautiful park with animals, the only one I could find in Annecy so far. It’s very relaxing there, and 50 m away there is a great spot from which you can see a beautiful city landscape. It may be hard to get there on foot, car recommended. Although, not impossible and totally worth it. Great place, must visit. Bring vegetables with you, there is only bread to feed the animals there, and it’s not very good for them.
