The Quail’s Nest is in a lovely location, which is very convenient for exploring the Pt Reyes seashore. The house is well appointed and comfortable for two couples with a good selection of seating options. The afternoon sun took the chill off the living room and sun porch. We would recommend it to our friends and would stay there again when we are in the area.

My husband and teenage daughter and I spent 5 nights in this lovely apartment, and it was perfect for us. The space is well laid out and comfortably furnished, and the kitchen had quality equipment including nice utensils and sharp knives! The big windows fronting the street let in lots of light and gave us a birds-eye view of the neighborhood. The apartment is impeccably clean and charming.

Leur appartement est calme, lumineux, bien équipé et aménagé, très agréable à vivre. Il est idéalement situé sur les pentes de la butte Montmartre, entre Pigalle et Abesses. Un endroit idéal pour profiter d’un quartier vivant et animé tout en étant à l’écart des flux touristiques et au calme pour se reposer.
The apartment ist located in a nice and quiet street close to place Pigalle and Abesses. The two sleeping rooms are facing towards the backside of the house. We were there with three persons and that was perfect. The living room is equipped with TV and DVD player and there are several DVD‘s in the storage. The bookshelf is wonderful to look at. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, coffeemaker, Dolce Gusto machine, jug-cattle, pots, pans etc. Even some oil, salt an pepper was there, aswell as coffeefilters. Everything you need is in walking distance; Montmatre is jut great!!! We loved the apartment!
When you use the metro with kids, be aware that a childrens ticket is only valid for kids under twelve (twelve not included, we had to pay a 35€ fine for my 12-year old daughter. If you decide to take a rikcha-taxi, be aware that the price they tell you is per person. They won’t tell you this in advance!!
Tout simplement parfait ! déco très cocooning, très fonctionnel, et de très belles prestations pour cet appartement à Montmartre ! Mention spéciale à nos super hôtes pour l’organisation du séjour tout est clair! on se sent vraiment en confiance ! Excellente communication avant pendant et après le séjour. nous reviendrons !!
Our family of 4 spent 4 nights at the quails nest. The property is wonderful– room to wander and relax .The house has a homey welcoming vibe, with loads of books and the perfect window seat We ate dinner on the covered porch and drank wine in the adirondack chairs. We walked across the street to the meadery to sample mead. Our kids had their own room with twin beds. The kitchen has anything you need.
Ce chalet a une pièce de vie chaleureuse lumineuse, idéale pour les moments en famille. Venus à 8 , nous avions chacun notre propre espace sans l’impression de se marcher dessus. De plus la région est magnifique , nous sommes à la fois au calme à l’écart de tout et à la fois proches de toutes les activités ( marché, accro branche, lacs, randonnées …) en peu de temps ! Idéal pour loisirs et repos. Très bien équipé, beaucoup de vaisselles , machines à laver , facilité de parking… Nous y retournerons volontiers.
